I suspect i was standing near to you at one point. I really must take the fake moustache and glasses along in future so i'm a bit more obvious :D

Couple of nice shots there, i like the Porker most although i suspect the driver might not like to be reminded of his problems, i saw them taking the car away on the trailer a bit later.

Thanks for the feedback guys - I might be old but I'm still learning. Met Simon Harrison and a couple of other faces whose names I've come across. The pit crews of the saloon cars worked miracles getting their people out for race 2 although some of the cars didn't last very long.

By the time of the last Formular Renault race it was getting dark and a tad nippy - not as good recipe for taking pictures of racing cars. Still, it was nice to see the Sun up here in the frozen North.

Benn blew his engine and left copious amounts of oil around the circuit. Pity, as it was performing well and looking good on track.

You were at the Complex Dave when I paid it a brief visit before moving on.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Ken - I've been an admirer of your work since I found this forum. Simon said you were there but thought you were round the other side of the track. Perhaps another time.

Nice to meet you on Sunday Dave. Can't believe that Benn kept going all the way back to the pits after the engine / turbo let go. Explains the delay in starting the first race though.

Cheers,

Simon.
