The Hydro 18" produces f/45 at 5 feet and f/90 at ten feet

Is that backwards?

The maxilite is already too powerful for many situations even on the Quadra for me. So i started using it with an ND, so i didn't have to shoot at F16 anymore.

Thank you Scott. I just want to have an idea what these setting (ISO, aperture, shutter) were to get an idea. Thank you for sharing! :)

the hydroponic store
They had some that looked exactly like the maxilite and I went to go get one they were all sold. They cost 20.00, but they gave me this one for free and ordered in some more of the others.

This one came with a glass insert like a grid ring. I figured i could just take the glass out and put a grid in.

Wouldn't the latter ultimately let you require the former? :P

Hey, here in Washington State we can actually talk about smoking pot now that it's legal. It's kinda weird being at work and talking to people about smoking dubes, not that I do, but you know what I mean.

It is going to be my new main light for location work. Its has more output, weighs less, bigger coverage. The only thing I need to do is lightly sand the outside and paint it tan. The mirror outside finish can be seen over 100 yards and I don't need sun reflection bouncing back into my eyes.

Are you going to call it the DoobieLite instead of the MaxiLite? :)
