allways see what canon offer with the camera
They are selling the kit lens EF-S 18-135 first
and now they choose the EF-S 15-85 as a kit lens with your camera

Nothing special required to get sharp pictures from my 24-105, 70-200, 100-400, 50mm, 85mm lenses on my 7D. My "full frame" lenses do not require a higher shutter speed. In fact, my EF lenses get better results than any EF-S lens I have owned except one - the 17-55 2.8 IS. Yes full frame lenses gives a sharp pictures but it will gives more sharper on the full frame | Canon EOS | and some canon lenses

Dec 17, 2011 12:41 | #52 It sounds like the problem i had with my 7D. Never solved it properly, but 2 trips to canon managed to tone it down and considering my style of shooting it became less relevant but nonetheless annoying. Mine had problems focusing with every lens, 35L, Sigma 85, Sigma 30. All of them work perfectly on other cameras, but 7D has this thing about it

I just got a Sigma 17-70 and the image are way sharper than what i was getting on the Canon 24-105. I am using the same exact settings. Got mine at Samy's Camera for $419. 5DM3 lover

I eventually read about hard-resetting the 7D so I tried that and then micro focused all of my lenses again. I really didn't expect it to work, but it is a different camera now. Very sharp. I have gotten as sharp pictures using a 7D and a 1D Mark IV as I got when using my 5D Mark II. By your logic there aren't lenses made sufficiently for a APS-H body. Jason

Both the "AF-on" button and the * button can be set for the same functions... "Whatever you do, enjoy yourself...otherwise, what's the point."
