This is really cool. Do you have a version of this that is not HDR?

Really wild sunrise. I wish we got some of those over here. That snow cap is striking.

Just incredible!! I live in SE AZ...near the Mexico border and we have a few snow capped mountains to our west. Hope to get some good shots this winter. I think it is awesome to have the cactus in the foreground and snowy mountain in the background.

Canon T2i Digital SLR; stock 17-55mm and Sigma 70-300mm telephoto.
I am just learning so any suggestions are welcome.

Amazing sunrise. I'd like to catch more sunrises, but they happen so early... ;-)a

Hey, Irish...I was just there--in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Prescott, Sedona--around Thanksgiving, visiting our eldest son and family, and for five days we walked around in shorts and teeshirts....heheh...I'm happy to say we did not see any snow in any of those areas, not even on the mtns.

Here in MI, we aren't supposed to get any snow either, for this week/Christmas, but I'm sure we won't get cheated over the coming winter months...heheh...and next month, I'm heading down to FL, to visit one of our other sons (and grandkids)...I HATE snow/winters! :)

As for your photo--a treat to view...the contrast, colors, composition, right on!

Jim---thanks for the comments. We can always tell the tourists---they are the only ones wearing shorts after Halloween. You live here long enough, 70 is cold!
