Don't live near an urban center?
Love fragment photographs?
Good thing you stopped by then!
Since moving away from an urban area I can no longer contribute regularly to the Urban Fragment Thread. Yet I still love this style of photography, so I'm taking it to the streets -- the streets of small towns.
Please contribute your small town pieces, how you view where you live or where you travel. There are no strict rules, it's fun to see individual interpretations. Share information about the location, or don't. Share a story of how you got there, or don't. All I ask is that you share your small pieces of small towns. Thank you!
I'll begin with a few from two local towns in Central Texas.
Bartlett. It was the perfect cloudy day for black and white.
Granger. This is a beautiful, old clock that hangs in front of the bank.
Granger. Old pianos simply sitting on the sidewalk; I felt as if I won the photographic lottery.
