Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge

The Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, FL is one of my favorite places to shoot. It is a very unique place in that it has a one way road through the refuge.
There are many open water areas that provide protected areas for the birds to feed. The shores are loaded with Mangroves that offer an opportunity to nest.

Here is a short video I took this week. Sorry about the music, I would have much rather had the native sounds, but midway into the video a fellow came up and started asking me questions so I just overwrote the audio.

Did you see many game species there (ducks and geese)?

A few ducks, I seldom see Geese in Florida.
I wish the conversation had been interesting, but it was more on
the line of " Been here long?"
