Hey folks,
just about to make a Watermark for my pictures and a logo for my site. What and how would you do that? Currently I thaught, the first picture with the dark background can be the logo, I just need to make it a little more sharp.

I made the following:

I also thaught about doing it with the letters "RP" or "rene-photography.de"

What is your favorite?

thanks winam

Create your watermark as a png file (*.png). That way it can be resized without loss of quality since it a vector.

Why would a .png become vector?

If the image consists of pixels, it will still be pixels as a .png…

Hmmm, I have just realised my understanding was flawed! jpeg/png are both raster whereas eps is vector.

To be brutally honest, they are both rubbish. It tells me nothing about you or what you offer except a generic photography service.

Maybe think about using your initials and find a groovy font to make up the logo. Or spell you name backwards or something else.

Sorry if this comes across as too harsh but those logos just look very amateurish.
