Nice one Tony!

It is a nice time of the year :) Thanks Tony!

It is ALMOST always like that. Although i have been down there at around 5:30am and it is empty! It is a very odd feeling being in a place that is usually packed to death and barely having a soul around!

I know what you mean... I'm hopinig that ill be able to get some good shots today with the 35.

That is starting to look better Nick. Are you looking to print this image?

Question, does anyone know how to make the cloning tool in LR3 not suck? I have to make multiple adjustments in a small area, but the tools stick around, so when you have several very close together I can't put a new spot down, it just selects one of the other ones.

If there isn't away I'll just edit it in PSE later.

Happens to me as well. I just move over to CS5 when that begins.

Well PSE is making some of it easier, except I can't rotate the clone stamp, which is a little irritation when you have curved seem like you do at the bottom of the jeans.

I hate this tool on LR3, I go out to CS5 or when working with faces I simply use aperure3

Yeah... it's sort of useless in LR3...

The PSE one is better, but it's no photoshop. Maybe I'll just edit it at work once everything is adjusted, it shouldn't take long at all.

I've never really tried to edit anything in LR3. Just checked out that clone stamp tool, kinda interesting the way it works but it sure is basic!

CS5 lets you rotate the stamp to any degree you want, I don't remember if PSE 8 does or not and I don't have it installed.

Yeah, very.

I can't find the option in PSE10... :(

No sharp enough...i will try again tonight when moon is still high near the zenith.

Edit: this is also myfirst moonshot with a 7 D I have been happy with the 5D2, and in a thread, theoretically a 7 D pixel count, size is better...I just realize now that I have to shoot faster and maybe turn on the IS...will try with the 5D2 later.

Ah yeah...

Could you go with a 400 5.6 as a cheaper option? It's a little redundant FL/F stop wise to your 100-400 but it should be quite a bit sharper.
