I've never built a website.... and probably know more about rocket science then coding...

In that case it'd be a good idea to go with something like WordPress or for pretty much zero interaction with code at all, Zenfolio. Julian has one, and they look pretty nice to me. Just avoid flash, it's no fun at all.

Unless you'd like to hire me to build a site for you, haha.

I am not questioning you :lol: its just weird coz I have already seen this photo a few times but now I really think it has a slight barrel distortion... its pronounced due to the long horizon.

the portion where the island is seems a bit lower than the side opposite the pier :lol: don't mind me hahaha

:lol::p Pfft!

I just checked. It's pretty much spot on. I think the darker section of sand in the middle just gives it a weird look and makes it seem messed up.

Thanks Nick. ;)

haha hello :D for some reason I can't stand them, I make it a point that when I go home I am only there for 2-3 days, and I hate parties where there are a lot of Chinese relatives and other Chinese friends, I feel like they are full of Crap :lol: too full/proud of themselves

Of course, not all of them are like that... but generally they are or better yet WE ARE :lol:

Haha I share your experiences. What I've learned from three years in China, though, is that you just have to learn their culture and put yourself in their shoes. I don't agree with a lot of the Chinese values, especially the modern interpretation of them, but there is some good, useful stuff in there.

Just in case you're ever curious to delve deeper into your culture. :p

I would actually offer my services, but I'm bogged down with a pretty big client and a ton of other side work (anyone here ever heard of DECA?).

What don't you like about SmugMug?

Oh, the bane of having "your" domain registered by some random person.

Especially when you look into the WHOIS info and realize it was some random employee who registered their name as a domain for fun at their company years ago, without any intention to use it...

Good luck with your search, it's a tough one!

I wanted a more "professional" looking site. I use smugmug to put a bunch of random photos on.

Definitely check out Zenfolio (external link) then, lots of themes available. Very slick and "pro" looking, considering plenty of pros use it :p

Side Note: I just accidentally added "consdering" to OS X's dictionary. It's begun :eek:
