Skill > Money (assuming we have corners)

Definitely.

And if the track doesn't have corners, it's not worth racing on. :p

only 200HP forget that!

The Ariel Atom has 245 BHP and has a better power-to-weight ratio than the 1000 HP Bugatti Veyron does.

That thing is a death machine go cart!

EDIT: Especially the new V8 490HP version.

Not sure I get this "buy local" crap.

Ford is a US company. Toyota is a Japanese company etc.

They are given massive, absolutely massive tax breaks to "build" cars in countries, like Australia, the US etc. The money all goes back to the shareholders. Hardly any $$$ stays in the country you say "we're trying to keep things going in our economy". As soon as the tax break is over, adios...move to another state/country.

It isn't really based on the cars that sell (but helps out a lot!), but when the tax breaks end.

When I say buy local Harm I mean produced and assembled in Australia. We are the same as you guys, every job counts. My current one is also made in Australia, but it is a Holden, so really owned by GM. The profit goes back to the States, but it keeps locals in a job. We have a very small and ailing car industry over here and without the government prop ups it would simply shut down. The flow on effect to all the suppliers really hurts as well. Detroit has been through it, we are trying to stave it off.

I tentatively call it a "car" but yes, it would be cool to have.

Did you read that last line where it says that there is a lien on the car? Don't buy something that the bank owns!

The only thing these luxury sports cars have is top speed. It seems to be the trend with all exotics these days.

Hmm... I disagree. The new Avendator is focused on handling (according to Lamborghini anyways). More and more cars are focusing on handling. Even the Veyron has great handling for a car it's weight and power.

Many exotic car companies focus on handling and acceleration these days. Even a few years ago the 0-60 times on many cars are way slower than they are these days.
