Iso performance and focus system (in the FF market im looking at). Nikon just gets it done. Canon is starting to catch up to it. In the lens department nikon is catching up to canon in filling in the holes and updating old lenses. 135 and 70-200's is where canon holds a nice advantage. However, i would own the 70-200 2.8 and nikon has a solid one. This is all subjective :)

Wide angle and UWA zoom lenses are great, so last night in my photowalk, I exploited the capabilities of the 17-40 mm on full frame, nice large foregrounds and deep DOF

We shall see but it wouldnt shock me at 800 for this lens. Suggested retail YEN is 90,000 or $1161 knock off around 200 - 300 from that and you land around my suggestion.

The camera is very nice ;)

I wouldn't be shocked either, at $800. The mk1 has gone up from $600-->$700 in the last 2 years. $900 is pushing it, however, unless they've finally developed a new motor to rival the whisper-quiet USM/HSM competition.

Gosh darnit. And I thought I had an original idea.

Still, mine would have been in front of a muslin background, with lighting and whatnot. The lady would be wearing a flowing dress with her hair done. That photo looks more like a random shot with some lady at the beach.

ahh ok. and the actual model's gotta have a nice pose too huh? :D

Hey, I've got shots in the same place from when I was there a few years back. It was the year of the Mouse then. I'll have to upload those shots at some point.

The room they hold those new year displays in is actually pretty big--bigger than those shots imply. They had a stream/Koi pond running along inside too. Unless I'm thinking of the setup in another Casino/hotel...

yes , please uplaod so we can see similar settings as they reuse a few of the sets, more exploiting the wide angle
