i've only seen a couple displays before so im familiar how big the area is. wow! koi pond huh.

the center is now a koi pond and also by the twin dragons there are kois, Belagio is the larger display area, Palazzo is smaller also Wynn is small

you can see some kois here

I wouldn't be shocked either, at $800. The mk1 has gone up from $600-->$700 in the last 2 years. $900 is pushing it, however, unless they've finally developed a new motor to rival the whisper-quiet USM/HSM competition.

Yup that is why i said between 800-900. So we shall see. Ill be ready to preorder as soon as it become available :)

yes , please uplaod so we can see similar settings as they reuse a few of the sets, more exploiting the wide angle

Nice colors Tony :)

are the iso's on the nikon that much better?

i find nikon lenses are better built then canons....

In current bodies? Yup! Nikon bests canon in iso and canon bests nikon in resolution. I dont care much for resolution as 12-18mp is plenty enough for me :) Again just subjective.

We shall see but it wouldnt shock me at 800 for this lens. Suggested retail YEN is 90,000 or $1161 knock off around 200 - 300 from that and you land around my suggestion.

vipergts831 wrote in post #13773546 (external link)
The way it is looking i wouldnt be surprised if the new one comes in around 800-900. So a used Mki at around 500 is a great deal :)

$800 would be fine since the regular price on the current gen is $700.

Wow... I don't like that decision at all...

Yes a lot of the "content" is the same, but they are all well known Landmarks/symbols of Londong.

If you ask me, neither shot was very original. I've got a similar shot. So if I edit the colors out, am I guilty of copyright infringement?

That judge was an idiot.

Yup but you can see it was blatant the premise of the image was ripped. Just a different angle. Although to me a different angle is a different shot but to go mono with the red bus was just too much of a coincidence.

Exactly my thinking...

If it was some really creative take on something, and someone knowingly duplicated it to save paying royalties one something, well ok then. But.. in this case, they are sort of generic.
