Hi, Unfortunately I do not live states side but yes they are very good prices, the question I have is “If they can sell them at these prices and still make a profit why do they have such a big price tag in the first place”?
If they sold at the lower prices all the time they would probably sell more, not make such a big profit per item/lens but still make a good profit.
I hope you all get bargain and it makes for a merry Christmas.
Russ

Many Thanks,
Russell.

For reference, I did so this morning and they will not be matching this price.

Was that Adorama or B&H? I haven't heard back yet from Adorama and their phone lines are jammed

Guys, I got BH to price match on my 16-35mm purchase thru live chat. I was initially told "no," and that an email with RMA will be sent just in case I want to return the lens. But came back as I was about to end the chat session and said he got authorization to price match. I saved the transcript of the chat just in case.

I figure it's going to cost me $30 to ship this thing back insured. I'll still be up at least $100. I bought a Lens Align with the savings. :) Still hoping to hear from Helen to save another few bucks from Mr Rebates, but seems unlikely since the Amazon deal is done. Glad I placed my order! Though worst case I just keep the B&H one. Not like $1255 was a bad deal for a lens that was $1470 a month ago!

You tried on a sale that is no longer active. The 16-35 is alive and well.

No, at least 3 of us tried while the 35L was still active and we all got turned down.

It wasn't at 9:10 this morning. Even sent them the link.
