Randy were you able to have bh adjust the price for you ?

Yes. Hopefully whoever you chatted with contacts you. The guy I talked to said he was going to contact me later today.

So glad I chatted when I did. It pays to check this place

I thought they started doing it at 11, must have just lasted for like half an hour

Yeah B&H dropped it around 1100 or so and lasted till about 1145(?). Amazon went OOS somewhere b/w 1015 and 1030

I've been checking here a lot lately as well ... and my wallet is hurting b/c of it

I think it's only been 6 minutes since he said the guy would contact him back, so I doubt he knows yet, but for what it's worth, they price matched for me

FWIW to all the Adorama folks, Helen just replied and said they are in the process of updating their price.

Just got the same email.

They're refunding me, I got it at 1,255 last week. I chatted like 5 minutes after someone posted that they had put their price at $1,099, so I was able to say 'i got this lens from you and now you have it cheaper'

How far back does Adorama go for the price guarantee? Would something purchased from them on 12/19 qualify? Or am I confused and they don't have a low price guarantee?

Dang it - this hobby is getting expensive. I need to stay off the Market Watch Forum until this madness is over!

Congrats to everyone who is taking advantage of these great deals!

Yeah I thought that's why they weren't price matching when Amazon sold out but people said they weren't price matching even when it was in stock. Guess I got lucky.

Really can't regret my purchases now, I was on the fence, knowing a new 35 and 5d3 is probably coming soon.

Honestly I don't know what kind of 'improvements' they could make to the 35L. If they are going to update any of their L primes it should be the 50L.
