After getting a feel for it last week, a friend and I paddled over to Penguin Is at 6am this morning for the Crested Terns.

The 70-200mm would have been a great idea as I once again struggled with the 400mm as the birds were very close.

I got shat on my shoulder (some hit my lip) and man I know what it smells like now.

Essentially a full frame image with EXIF intact.

Thats a beauty ,nice eye contact which is hard to achieve with Terns .
