IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

Is there anyone who can explain how to post an image on this forum? I have tried to enter the characters provided in the help section but that just results in a box with a red "x". Help!

It depends on what you want to show, link or image? If you want to show the url, then use instead of [IMG].
I right clicked on your "x" image, it's an website link, not an image link.

lziering,

Here is the syntax: Replace the T's with I's and don't forget to put .jpg at the end of your URL. Type it as you see it, including the brackets.

[tmg]yoururland.jpg[/tmg]

Good Luck,

This is the text from your post; I added spaces in the IMG area so you can see it here:

The problem is you have put the address for the web page, not for the image file itself. The address should end in .jpg

I do not believe you can embed from that site, by the way.

P.S. Terrific photo!

Great photo, but I don't think he's deep in thought but rather admiration.
