A couple of years ago my little brother got married. I turned up on the day, expecting to have fun and socialise.. only to be told that I was their photographer errrr lucky I had my camera with me! I only had 1x 2GB CF card with me and my nifty fifty on my 40D. No flash, no wide angle lens.. no spare battery.. in fact I didn't even have a camera bag with me!

Suffice to say, the photos were bloody awful! My CF card filled up pretty quickly, so I was constantly trying to clear room.

What a rotten day. Never again I tell you! I ended up with all these over exposed awful photos. Don't remember much of the actual wedding and spent much of my time trying to take photos of the brides Mum without her enormous cleavage ruining every shot!

Never again! Although I've had a lot more experience now and could probably do a better job.. made me realise how stressful a job this would be. Not my cuppa tea!

Well, considering that his last post on POTN was on March 1st 2012, I don't think you are very likely to get a response...

Holy thread revival Batman...
When I saw this thread had resurfaced, I thought that finally, we would get to see some photos.
Disappointed...again.
That seems to be all this thread does...disappoint.

Damn, 19 pages of reading and no photos - must start looking at long threads from the last page backwards to establish whether theres a conclusion. Still - as im at work and have therefore been payed around £10 to read those 19 pages its not a total loss :)

It has been a few years, and 19 pages. Maybe, we will see pics of second wife, or children.
