The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.

Also, please keep all comments, be they positive or negative, to yourself until after the game has ended.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #397."

This competition used to be 4 days, Lets do it that way this week so it does not interfere with Christmas
Game ends Friday 23 December at 10pm Mtn time. which would be 5am dec 24 gmt

Straightened a little bit, selected all the brightest pixels in the channels palette and went back to the layers palette, copy/paste to new layer the pixel selection, set layer to screen mode.
Merged, duplicated, high pass a couple of times with modified masks, high pass layers set to overlay.
Selective color layer: Reds= yellow down -13, black up +8 ; Yellows= black up +12 ; Blues= black up +8, layer set to screen mode at 45% and masked out the bleachers, upper wall and ceiling area.
Flattened, unsharp mask at 81, .5, 3 .
A little too crunchy for me but I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it!

This was a hard choice for me. There are things that I really like about both. But in the end I picked Lore, I like the crop and adding in the basketball really helped.

So take it away Lore

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.
