Decent numbers though not near the peek but was able to make the trek to Jasper Pulaski to see these magnificent gliders ... Here are a few and the rest are on my site, Thanks for looking...

Family Approach. I spoke to a few of the "locals" and they said that once the Cranes have their young that they stay together for quite some time...

looks like it's peaking late this year. 12/13 count was almost 14k and growing. I keep seeing them fly over my house in really large groups and really high. It's more like you hear them than see them. They have a very unique call.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I agree... Seems delayed this year ... Maybe the weather and La Nina . I also agree on the seeing vs hearing .. I was outside as I heard a flock coming and it was funny when the neighbors were out looking and looking and did not see them as there were about 250 in a flock ;) very high and only reason I caught them was the sheen/shine as the group turned

Love the sound of the call lol

Wow, that is a beautiful set Alan. Geez, it is too hard to say just one would be a favourite!! The family approach one is terrific, as is the last one, that is a definite print and hang on the wall image.

Great looking set Alan. The shadow of the head on the far wing in the first one is pretty cool.
