I've been getting out as much as possible to get some birding practice in with the new lens.
Trying to get to grips with the best balance of aperture/shutter speed/ISO to keep the bird suitably sharp, noise low as poss and eliminate any blur from me or the bird moving, made more tricky by the poor light here at this time of year... I'm much more used to putting the camera on a tripod and taking my time with composition and settings but then landscapes don't move a lot. I'm enjoying the learning curve though!
These were taken at a hide overlooking a feeding station I stumbled upon during a walk around Alton Water. Any constructive comments more than welcome.
