Lightroom Slideshow Music Q

Since Lightroom will only allow me to use 1 song for my 18 minute slideshow, does anyone know how I can produce an 18 min music ensemble via iTunes to then import as 1 song into LR3? Thanks in advance! Jake

iTunes is not the way to go.

The best way to acheive what you're trying to do is use a music or video editing program that suppots the ability to compile and edit the songs to match the key frames of your images in your slideshow. Lightroom will do the basic job, once you compile the music into a single track of the duration you need (using other software). You may find a video editing program such as Adobe Premiere or Adobe Premiere Elements far more flexible for precisely syncing the images and music. Download the trial versions and give them a try. Corel also has free trial versions of their editing software programs too.

I don't believe iTunes has the capability to do that. If you're on a PC, an audio editor such as Audacity (free, open source) will do the job. If you're on a Mac, Garageband works great for such tasks.

I used audacity to create one loooonnnnggggg mp3 and attached it to the slideshow. Then let LR fit the slideshow length to the music. Wasn't real worried about special parts.
