Plus as a minimum to get the automated MA but I like Pro to get the extra features such as the focus versus MA graph, etc. It's interesting to see if a lens has a distinct "best" MA versus a range of "equally good" MA. If a range of "equally good" MA exists then you can pick the MA value in that range that works best over a wider range of subject distances, etc. DDL
