Any other Reikan FoCal testers out there?

I would like to bounce a few things I have going on your way and get some feedback.

I am in on the beta, downloaded and installed, but have not had time to try it yet - on the road for work this week, but have a three day weekend coming up and trying it out is all I want for Christmas

Happy to converse with you once I have the opportunity to use it.

I'm not a tester (wish I were) but I would really love to see the reviews of this product after the final version is released. I'm not obsessive about MA but this looks like it would sure make it a LOT easier and more accurate.

I sent a PM to all 3 of you. I just wanted to talk a bit about the software but still be respectful to the published who wishes to keep any bugs/impressions quiet during the beta phase.

I see that this is now released and I would love to hear from anyone who has used it and see if this really works. The price seems very reasonable if it does work.

Yes it seems to work very well for me and I prefer using it to my LensAlign Pro and Spyder LensCal. Having it automated, repeatable, and results graphically presented are worth it to me.

In Beta I noticed a few bugs which I haven't checked out on the production release.

I used some of the early, pre-beta work that he did and it worked quite well then.

Plus as a minimum to get the automated MA but I like Pro to get the extra features such as the focus versus MA graph, etc. It's interesting to see if a lens has a distinct "best" MA versus a range of "equally good" MA. If a range of "equally good" MA exists then you can pick the MA value in that range that works best over a wider range of subject distances, etc.

Pro also allows you to go beyond the Canon MA range available through the camera's MA menu (if you need more than +20 or -20 on the 7D).

I'm leaning towards the Pro. Looks like they are offering a discount through the end of the month. Thanks again.
