As in years past, this thread is for those of us who insist on buying our own holiday gifts when it comes to our hobby, our passion. So I will start.

I got myself an S95 and will be giving away two Canon P&S to sister who don't have a good camera.

I already bought a rubber hood for trips to the aquarium.

And hopefully, Santa will be bringing a 70-200 2.8 IS Version II. Still not sure about that one.

My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.

Nice. I've only used one once, for fun.

Well I need to go pick up a GH2 to replace my 7D, plus a load of SD cards for it, and a new intervalometer, and a lens adapter. Hurgh I wish Canon would just make a mirrorless camera already!

Been looking for a new lens for my mirrorless. I think I've settled on either the Panny 20 1.7 or the 14 2.5. That 12mm f/2 looks sweet, but way too rich for my blood. That kind of money I'd rather put it to a full-frame lens.

I don't think I'm getting myself any. Of course, when I got my BiL a couple of 16 GB Extreme SDHC cards, I felt it necessary to get another one (or two) for QC purposes. Wouldn't do to send him off junk, now, would it? :{)# It's purely coincidental that my SX1, SX230 and LS20 all need Class 10 cards for HD video and high res images.
