The Pilbara (the north-west of Western Australia) from approx 20,000', here you can see a creekbed with the gum trees lining the bank (it looks a lot better larger):

A bunch of really neat photos! My contribution is this shot of spring fields in Iowa. All the curvy green stripes are the result of contour plowing of the hilly land. Canon S500

These photos have unexcusable artifacts and look asolutely horrible, even after running noise ninja.

Unfortunately, I have only flown over the alps (to Austria) once on a clear day, and so they are all I have. If I had taken these with my A75 they would probably look many times better. The camera was a Kodak Mc3, which leaves horrible artifacts on images, is only VGA and I really hate! (I gave it away...it cost me £25, £100 off asking price!)

Anyway...
