These pictures weren't edited. They were all straight out of the camera.
How can you tell they are underexposed? I metered these in camera so I'm not sure what I missed.
Not to be rude, but I have two eyes, that's how LOL. Yes, you metered in camera but then there's the question of what type of metering it was. Always overexpose by at least a 1/3 as the other person said, because faces are important in sports and shadows can ruin a photo. They're also soft, which could depend on in-camera settings.
