I am taking photos of a cycling jersey for web use and had someone model the jersey for me and I have masked them out.

I am having trouble photographing the "inside" of the neck part of the jersey. I can't seem to figure out how to hold the shape while I take a picture. Any tips?

Why not use a hanger and then mask out the hanger at the neck? If you can mask out the model then you should have no problem masking out the hanger. Just make sure the camera and the jersey stay the same distance apart, that way you aren't spending a lot of time resizing and trying to line it up. Use two images, then mask them together.

That's what I would try.

The first looks like it's on a mannequin. The second one looks computer generated.

Look shot on mannequin in a typical white background set up. Then they CGI'd/photoshopped the collars, arms, and waist. Pretty sure that is all there is to the shot.

Dress shirts come with that plastic ring in the collar to make it stay crisp, perhaps that with the hanger would give it that fleshed out look around the neck.
