Copyright Question???

So I came across this Canadian news cast video today and noticed that they used one of my photos without permission. Do I have anything to stand on with getting any thing from these guys or would this fall under free usage??

I saw about three stills of the hockey player in that clip. Are those what we are talking about. It wasn't clear but it did look like there was a name in the lower left of those. Where did they get that image and under what terms were they posted on that site. I would certainly write to them and ask for your normal rates for usage.

yea there are a couple other photographers images on there mine you can see my name and logo clearly on there. I am not sure where they got the image from more than likely it was off Facebook or the blog that I send images too but the owner of the blog didn't sent them the image so it was a screen grab either way. I did write to them stating that my image was used without consent from me and that I am requiring my standard fee to use that image and that they have until Friday to respond to me. If I don't hear back from them I am sending them a certified letter with a bill attached to it.
