Now the wont get the full use because of crop sensor, but it will give the range of like 38 mm. So look at 35 mm shots and see if you like the framing and you may have a idea. I have a xsi, it's a capable camera, the reason I went full frame was mainly for "width" the sensor brings. Which is just the ability to use my lens to full capability. I say go for it and if you get a full frame body down the road and keep the 450, it'll give the lens 2 kinds of flavors if you switch back and forth. If so, I would strongly suggest a flash if you don't have one already. Used correctly you'll get results and indoor versatility that you can't get with just a fast prime.
