I think I am in over my head with this purchase, no pun intended (okay maybe intended a little bit). Anybody here ever used one of these things?

Practice practice practice before you even think about getting wet, make sure the cogs on the zoom ring are fully engaged after you have assembled it. It is big and bulky out of the water but light as a feather once in, the first time I lifted mine out of the water anter a 60 minute dive I had a short panic as I thought it must have filled up with water as I had forgotten just how heavy the complete rig was. Thanks, I got the housing used on ebay for my 20D, and bought the strobe and arm (a DS-51) from a dive site classified. Still trying to figure out what lens port to get. I think I am going to start with my 17-40, just need to decide whether to get the cheap 6" dome that doesn't allow for diopter filters, or spring for the 8" dome. Believe me I really have no idea what I am doing at this point so any advice is appreciated. The housing seems to work well, I put my camera in there and played with all the knobs, I am amazed how well they construct these things. Mr. the Kid.
