I just bought a new Rebel T3 and was searching for a battery grip for it. Does anyone know if the battery grip for a T3i will work on a Rebel T3? The one for the T3i accepts "AA" batteries which would be something I would like to be able to use if necessary. In the "unlikely" event my battery dies, I usually have "AA" batteries in my vehicle that I could use.

all the battery grips I have seen have an AA tray that comes with them.
as far as the t3i fitting. I dont know.
you'll have to check the specs for the grip.

I've seen some online that are strictly for the T3 only.
