Hi all, I saw a technique a fair while ago and it's hard for me to explain, but you have a car or whatever your subject is, and you end up making it come away from the image, I'd almost liken it to an onscreen diorama that is coming out of the original scene..... There were a few perspective changes as well that made it work, and I think a folded corner or two...........this is making no sense to anyone is it??!!!

I know the finished result I am thinking of, but can't for the life of me come up with a name to start searching for how to do it? I don't have an example to show, as I don't even know what to search for.

I bet there is even a thread on it here somewhere showcasing work, all I need is a name.....so frustrating!

Usually called "Out of Bounds", but I know there are other names. "Border Breakout", "Breakout" and "Pop Out" are names that come to mind as well.

As to how to do it ... Photoshop Elements is one possibility. It has a "Guided Edit" mode to create these.
