Dec 23, 2011 09:28 | #1 What can be done with the color banding/noise of ISO 6400 files? Anything? I shoot ISO 3200 a lot and can manage those effectively for what I need but ISO 6400 is really bad in the red and blue spectrum. Banding very noticeable in the purple bleacher area.. One light had a quite a bit of blue tint which was why I lowered my ISO and switched to flash for the Varsity game. René Damkot wrote in post #13593761 I don't see any noticeable banding. I see some shades on the BG, and color noise (easy fix in your raw converter). It's not as noticeable in this web sized file but is quite bad in the full size raw file. This example has only my normal PP for ISO 3200. It is more pronounced in a red background (we have maroon wall mats at my "home" gym). Again, I only have a problem with ISO 6400 which thankfully I only need to use in two locations. Tim
