Just south of Estes Park on SH-7 is a wonderful old church in an incredible setting at the base of Mt. Meeker. Here's a couple shots from the other morning.

I've long admired that church (Saint Catherine of Siena Chapel, also known as the Chapel on the Rock, at the Saint Malo Religious Retreat) and have several photos of it. Unfortunately, I've never found the conditions there as striking as you did. Excellent shots of a beautiful setting, great job.

I love the light reflecting off the windows in the first image Jon. Excellent shots.

Thanks Sparker. We lucked out this morning as the forecast was for clear skies. BTW, the retreat burned down last month and is closed indefinitely.

Thanks Pete. No filter used while shooting, but I blended exposures when processing.

Nice place and shots. The first one - church in picture 3d, 2 sides of church are seen (3d look), reflections in windows. Second photo gives us church patterns and butifull cloud in red shades lying on mountain.

Gorgeous. Any shots from the inside? I can imagine some amazing shots of the background peeking through, unless they are all stained glass.

Excellent set and great lighting. GIANT KUDOS.
