She's a little rough....hasn't had a bath in forever....but still makes for an interesting daily driver.

I'm still not convinced that HDR is "right" for shiny bodies, but these look pretty good!

Body is rough and the paint may have been applied with a broom.


Personally, I love the "Rat mindset". Back when they started, most didn't have the equivalent of $10,000+ to put into a paint job, but if they had the money to put into the motor/drivetrain, then that's where it went. And nobody cared if they got respect for the way it looked as long as they got respect at the stop lights on Woodward. Sort of like the Q-Ships in WWII. ;)

No HDR involved in the processing. All single exposures processed with Photoshop Elements 9 and a secret recipe. ;) This thing was certainly a rat in wolf clothing. The paint appeared to be applied by broom...the sun at high noon on a totally cloudless day made for the lovely highlights.
