Thanks for the replies. We did uninstall then downloaded the program again with the original key and still had the same problems. I asked for a new key but now they are saying my antivirus program is blocking it. What is odd is this problem just popped up Sunday night and nothing changed within my computer at that time except I saw there was an update with Machinery.

Edit......weird that's what it was. I don't know why I never had that issue with AVG before ...why so random?

The instructions specifically said to disable your Windows Firewall and your AntiVirus when installing the program and key and afterwards turn them back on but you also had to run as administrator . I will admit that was awkward having to do that but i did so and it worked perfectly well . Personally i think too many have been against it from the start because it shows images slightly overcooked from the start and hardly anyone here likes those kind of images . Sure there has been alot of updates but at least he is listening to people and making changes to satisfy each and everyone here but it's impossible to satisfy most here .

Disagree. By far, the number one request(s) has been for improvements to the auto-align feature and the addition of an anti-ghosting feature. To date, I am not aware of either.

Sorry if you disagree but i did read where he said it was coming in the future so i give him credit for that and believe at some point he will . Reguardless he has been trying to satisfy MOST people but can't fill every request for ALL people til he can .

What I didn't get was that the program was working fine and had me as the owner then suddenly one night it reverts to a trial version. Anyway I'm glad it's working and I like it better then Photomatix. :D

That is weird ! But yes for the most part i agree . I have PM and i have messed with it for a month and never could get what i wanted yet so right now it's on the back burner and i'm using Topaz Adjust and DeNoise . I also have Cs5 and the trial on LR3 but i'm finding i have no need for LR3 so i think i'll just let it go . Topaz DeNoise does just as good a job with noise and a few other things as LR3 does . I also find LR3 to be a bit complicated .

Yes as I stated above the whole problem was AVG so I disabled it, ran the program and it worked. Whatever update Machinery did Sunday night at 12:02 I think was what caused the problem...ie something changed within itself. I am glad that they were pretty quick to respond to the issue but I did go a day without it missing out on photos I wanted to work on that I took over the weekend. At any rate I'm glad it's working

It may be possible that AVG and Machinery both had updates that created the issue...

just a few of my thoughts...

Also, consider Avast. I ran AVG on 5 systems (lap and desktops) for years, but found Avast to be better.

Edit:

P.S. - Avast has a free version, too.

Hand Held sort of. I placed the camera on the track and held it there while it took the 3 images. So there may have been a little bit of movement with this. Processed with Machinery HDR. As long as you have a steady hand then this shouldn't be a problem...

I also converted it to B & W in Photoshop.

I like both versions, I like the b&w foreground more though.

Nice. I would have tried to fix the glowing around the dome though.

Well, it certainly has some very lovely haloing around the dome, building and trees! (I see your sarcastic smiley - are you basically saying the same thing?)

I am just getting going with this HDR stuff, new to the digital age. I really like this form of processing and I am just starting to peel back the lid on photoshop.

Thanks (it could be the halo of legislators at work..)
