I have heard of people having problems using multiple files to do the HDR but where Machinery really shines is using a single file. Take the photo that was taken at the correct exposure and put it in Machinery then right click on that single image and click on Exposure Correction then go down to Bracketing +/- 2EV. This should simulate the other 2 images. Then go to Presets and experiment and see what you get.

I did this one real quick in Machinery with a few tweaks here and there.

this one I did in Photomatix. I actually took 3 different shots at different exposures of that image above. All I did in that image above was use the correct exposure. And I added a color layer to this one as well.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

Ugh

If you had to guess how much longer till we see it support the 5D III? I'm the biggest supporter of the software and though I know it's certainly not your fault, the wait is killing me! :D

If only other software makers can listen to end users like HD Machinery does, would have been great.

They do. I helped beta test Oloneo and some of the features I suggested were actually incorporated into the app.

Amen. Seriously. I'm a die hard supporter of the software/developer-s. I couldn't agree more.

No insight into why the program shifts magenta with CR2's?

I opened the DPP images you sent, and the purple color you wrote about is chromatic aberration on the edges of contrasting elements. I’ll try introducing an option that removes it.

I take it Machinery doesnt work with Lighroom 4? I exported DNG's from it this morning and it shows all the thumbnails fine but the ending photo is nothing but bars/lines. This is only a trial of LR4 that I wanted to try out

That's probably because LR4 you have is a trial . When i tried the trial it was similiar .
