Need an extra RF-602 TX (transmitter) to complete the in-home studio and be able to self-shoot. But I didn't find them selling separately from receivers. If anyone knows where I can buy a single transmitter, kindly suggest. Thank you

This one is for Nikon, but will work as a hand held TX for all RF-602..

Try looking here:

I do not know if they sell the TX unit by it self, but this is where I would look.

Regards.

Try looking for the YN RF-600TX. They've mostly replaced the RF-602TX both individually and in the sets--Yongnuo removed the PC 'in' port on the front of the transmitter. I just got one for $10 on Amazon.

I found RF600TX for Nikon, and that's what' I'll buy if I can't find one for Canon

I dont think you can get a TX alone. I would just get a set and have a back up RX.

I guess you missed this post where they just bought the TX by itself. ;)

Remember, you'll need a separate receiver for the camera as well.

To do self portraits as you mentioned.... you will need 2 transmiters. If you fire the camera and the strobes on the same transmitter, the strobes will fire and be half recycled before the camera has time to fire.

You will need one transmitter to hold in your hand paired to one receiver to fire the camera. Then a second transmitter on a different channel, in the hot shoe of the camera to keep the strobes in sync. And receivers paired to that one as needed.
