Hey, Nothing wrong with a P & S

My first digital was a Nikon Coolpix L2, then a SD1200 IS and now a G12. Still have the other two and plan on keeping them. They work just fine as long as I stay within their limitations.

P & S's have a problem dealing with contrast in some situations. Simple solution is to plan the time of day you want to shoot the subject. This works for static objects in the area where you live. It is more difficult when travelling since there is not much time to wait around for ideal conditions.
