I got bit by a dog yesterday at work (daycare/kennel for dogs) and I took this when I got back from the hospital that I was in for 5 hours before they stitched it and everything. It just kept bleeding in the waiting room the whole time but they gave me sterile cloth to keep it under control. The dog was a rescue and it was his second day at my job and he got in a fight but I was next to him because I had a feeling he was going to do something so I grabbed him by his collar and side to try to put him on his side but this dog had to be the most furious dog I have ever had to handle. The other dogs ive known for a year now(and had to stop fights with) so they backed off right when I told them and some of them sat down which was amazing because then it would be a lot more serious because these are all big dogs and I was alone in the daycare area. The dog instantly started attacking me and I have never feared a dog that got into a fight so much because it was just something you had to see in his face. I had to put him against the wall and call for help and when they got their I got distracted and he grabbed my face and fell and I held him against the ground with blood falling on his head and got him in a cage quick. It was a crazy ordeal but I'm glad everything turned out ok because I was a centimeter from losing my eye. I don't know what the owners are going to do with the dog though. Happy Holidays!

Yea I know. Before the fight happened he sat down and I was petting him all nicely but the owners should of never had that dog in the first place. Its great the nice dog lovers adopt dogs that were abused but there is so much more inside that dog then love and that needs to be taken very seriously before you can have that true love between an owner and their dog. The dog just didn't know because he has known much more then love unlike most dogs you see. His brother is also a boxer with an acid burn down his back....why would they take care of another when the one they have still has some aggression. People set these dogs up for failure. :(

When I got back from the hospital It just hurt bad when I moved my face lol but I wasn't as unhappy as I l was tired. Now that I look at it again I have to fix the color of my lips.

Awesome image.
You're one lucky SOB. You nearly lost an eye.

They did a good job on the stitches, everything looks pretty smooth and the direction of the cut goes with the contour of your lower eye, so I bet the scar will be pretty minimal. You can get some vitiman E gel caps and cut them, then put it on there and it should heal nicely.

Cool pic and yes very lucky it didn't get your eye.

Wow, that is frightfully close to your eye! Those little scars will heal quickly. They'll leave only a couple of very thin lines. Hardly visible, I'm guessing, so don't worry. Great pic. BTW, lovely face, beautiful eyes.

WOW! I'm so sorry that happened to you, how scary! What a Christmas present...:/ You have a great attitude about it though. I agree with a previous poster... you need a raise, or at least a nice size hazard bonus or something!
