Two things that would be helpful:

1.
When a quote is used in replying to a thread, it would be quite helpful if the post # of the original quoted reply was included in the quote.
That way, folks would know just what page to go back to to see the context in which the quoted reply was originally given.

2.
Perhaps there could be an "OP" at the beginning of any reply or any qoute from the thread's OP.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

In the quote, see the little blue arrow just to the right of your name? Clicking it takes you back to the source of the quote. Is that what you're looking for?

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

Cool - I never knew that! Is there a tutorial on how to use POTN? Hard to believe I've been here for years and find that there's still cool stuff I don't know about.

Heh! Tom, since new forum software will be coming from Pekka "soon", I'm afraid that getting into a tutorial on the present software will likely be a waste of time:)!

Is the new software going to be a complete overhaul or just a vBulletin upgrade?
