I have a ab 800 and the 22 beauty dish mounted on a heavy duty stand. The issue is that it will not tilt down enough as the dish hits the light stand. What is the best thing to use to correct this ? adding on to my stand, not getting a whole new stand. Thanks

Use a Boom

^ this. Its the best way to get the most flexibility in terms of light direction, especially if you want downward angles.

A boom alone is not going to allow you full flexibility to tilt the AB at more of a downward angle. Make sure you get a drop down pin too or you will be very disappointed.

Correct the boom set up can use additional articulation.
