I'm looking to buy a 2nd monitor to use with my new Macbook Air 13in. I calibrated my mba and it looks great, but I just need more space. I'd love to get the apple cinema display, but i can't afford it right now.

I'm looking to spend up to $300, but I want something that is IPS and LED. Not sure who to look to or which models. Suggestions are completely welcome! I've heard good things about ASUS and Dell but I don't know where to start.

I have a Spyder3Pro so I plan on calibrating my macbook air and monitor to match as closely as possible.

You ought to get a 24" if you can, but your budget may be problematic. The Dells come to mind in terms of price/performance.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Can you stretch your budget a little more?

One of these would be good: http://accessories.us.dell.com …rrank=0&~ck=baynoteSearch (external link)

Even has displayport which means you can get a cable for the Mac and not need an adapter.
