Holy cow, at this rate we will have the most posts of any group on here...and I think we got a bunch of new members over the holiday.

Got my zeiss 21mm this evening. Couldn't post any photos because world junior hockey took up my night.

All I can say right now is that lens is sharp sharp sharp at f2.8. Even extreme corners. Focus is so smooth it has to be felt to be believed.

I wish Zeiss would have AF on Canon, although I am improving my manual focus skills, I have zero confidence to do it reliably on the fly. All of my older Sony products (first digicam and my camcorder) have Zeiss optics and both are very sharp.

Lived in Colorado (Aspen mostly and Boulder for a few years) most of my adult life - can't believe I ever left

Funny thing is we were living in Aspen when we got married and took our honeymoon in Chamonix and Innsbruck (true dedication!). My wife's Hanson ski boots got a lot of attention in Europe back then.
