Dont know what the sound quality of it is. I have the Rode VideoMic and it works great. It is a little more but I think well worth it if you are planning to use it for video often. I did my BIL's wedding with it and had great results.

congrats for the new lens
i bought this lens for my 5D2
but i sold the camera
now im useing it with the 600D and the 60D all the time
and i like it for macro , portraits and product pictures
its great and sharp

possible with lightroom, but faster and easier via Photoshop if you have that. :D

B&W HDR shot from over the weekend, there is just something about classic VW buses not matter what condition they are in.

Well I logged of the facebook and twitter for atleast 2 weeks today. Was going to deactivate but then realized that it would shut down my drew carter photography page and didn't want that to happen so I just left facebook and I'm not logging back on!

In other news, it's been a while since I've had time to shoot but I am shooting the basketball game tomorrow night and I'm going to try and rent a 24-70 to see how I like it and I might even get the 24-105 with it too compare the two.
