I've been back to my winter car lately since it snowed and now there is salt and cinders all over the road. blah. I guess it will provide new photo ops though!

Ugh! Someone stop me. Keep looking at the 70-200 2.8 IS MKII and finding them for about $2,000 and then keep finding MKI for around $1,600. I keep justifying the $400 difference and know I shouldn't, but if I'm going spend that much already shouldn't I be totally happy?

Great pictures Randy. Do you mine sharing on how you did the below edit? TIA

QUOTED IMAGE

Black and White or Gradient layer and a layer mask.
What editing software do you use?

sorry for late reply.

I used LR and PS in this shot.B&W and layer mask, then put up some contrast, adjusting some of colors using selective color B/W. then transferred to PS to do a little Sharpening for my subject. ;)

I'm Randy.

Hey guys, for it's price... is attaching this to my 60D worth it? Looking for a cheap mic...

http://www.amazon.com …TF8&qid=1327938714&sr=1-5 (external link)

try it and spread the good news.

like the yongnou's. They're cheaper but get the job done. it's great to have something cheaper that works as good.

unless one will try it no one will know. just keep your receipt and be ready to return. :)

Monday and Macro are such bad influences! Oh trust Max I've been to the shop and I'm trying to fight it. I wish the guy that is selling his would come down to $1,800 and I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Anybody need a new ipod touch? I'm selling one in the box never touched, still has the seal, 8G newest version. I won it for a sales contest, but since I already have a classic and touch phone it'll never be used. Trying to sell it here locally, but if anybody here wants it I'll work something out to help me feel better about spending the cash for the 2.8.
