I was walking around the park with my camera and this lady started up a conversation with me. I asked her if I could photograph her and she said sure. She said she's 70 !! She looked great for 70!

Yes, great shot but I don't think the PP does her any favors.

This shot wasn't supposed to do her any favors. ;) It was meant to be dramatic.

After a 25 year break I got back into photography about 18 months ago. I started off with a Nikon D5000 and some lenses. I found the D5000 hard to use as everything is buried in menus. I then got a Canon G12 which was great. The only thing I missed was my ultra wide angle lens so I got the 60D and 10-22 lens. I love this camera. In particular the variangle lcd and the electronic level (as on the G12). I have now traded in the G12 for the s100 as the s100 has a wider lens and is alot smaller. The 60D though is a great camera and looks so good with the powergrip attached :)

Martin! congrats and welcome to the 60D thread! might i say you have great taste in cameras ;)

I got an Ipad from Santa, he also purchased the camera connection kit. I have tried connecting directly to the camera and reading the disk. Nothing happens. It is like I never connected anything. Did you have to do something to get your Ipad to upload pictures taken on your 60D? If I am replying to a bot..which I think I might be, has anyone out there tried uploading to an Ipad?

LOL...most bots aren't Sr. Members with over 1100 posts. Is it an iPad 2 or iPad 1? I have no problems with the iPad 2, I have only used the SD reader, not the USB adapter, be sure you are on the home screen, plug in the adapter, then insert the SD card, the importer starts automatically and gives you a preview of the pics and you can select the ones you want.

As soon as a posted my question to his post, I started receiving junk mail from Ipad Insight..maybe that was just a freak timing or something. Anyway back to my issue, I have an iPad 2, brand new from Apple. I followed your instructions exactly...the importer doesn't open, nothing happens. I really wanted to use the iPad when I am out driving around taking pictures. I just don't know enough about Apple products to know how to try to trouble shoot.
