hahahaha did you happen to read my description for the picture above? :)
If you haven't, HK simply stands for Hong Kong. Nothing too crazy. It's just where I was born, where I'm from, and how much I miss that place.

Cool, I was trying to decipher your name a few times and then it hit me all of a sudden after your picture. Hong Kong is an interesting place I'd like to see in person but alas for now it's only in pictures.

Hahahaha you should definitely visit if you have a chance. I just love the convenience of a packed city when everything you desire is within reach. Right now I live in the suburbs so it's quite a change for me but I guess I shouldn't complain when I'm only half an hour away from NYC.

These are fresh from Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure (FL). I was stuck in the park one day with just my 60mm macro. Not much PP, some have auto correct in MS Picture Manager and some cropping.

Wow...Tons of posts! New thread! New "assignment" of 3 favorites!

Okay...I'll join in! Not the most technically perfect shots by any stretch, but if I have to pick three...I guess I can narrow it down :)

My niece...Piled the leaves up and I put a strobe about 20 feet away and 10 feet high and told her to start throwing leaves.

Then there's Auto-X. I had just gotten to the corner I wanted to shoot from (light direction, colorful background, outside corner, etc) and right out of the bag, the Ferrari Italia comes zooming up. I hadn't got my camera set up yet...But sprayed and prayed anyway. :D

Then there's the boy. Missed focus and the exposure was a bit off, but I had the camera and the sheets in my hands, and he kept either flipping over with handfuls of sheets and rolling up or crawling straight at me and grabbing the camera...So it was the best shot of the bunch. I love his expression and the overall effect of the shot.

Had a couple of strobes (fired via slave from on-camera flash, this was before I had my triggers) on either side to light the sheets...Turned all the way down of course :)

big plans for the night, david?

Big plans? I was sick for the whole night, p*cking a lot. Didn't sleep of the night, went to the bathroom at 7AM, p*cked like I never did. And that's not because of the alcohol, I think it's the three grilled cheese I ate for souper...

Still feeling sick, big Nee Year party at my house tonight, 30+ person. That's until 11pm than I'm heading to a night club I'm a photographer for them... Ask me if I'd rather stay home...

:(

Hi, I'm David.
