Be safe out there tonight everyone. Good luck with the 366 day projects. I'll try it again for the 3rd time. This time I'm trying to remind myself that yes my pictures will be really bad and just learn from it. Can't shoot birds all my life.

Big plans? I was sick for the whole night, p*cking a lot. Didn't sleep of the night, went to the bathroom at 7AM, p*cked like I never did. And that's not because of the alcohol, I think it's the three grilled cheese I ate for souper...

Still feeling sick, big Nee Year party at my house tonight, 30+ person. That's until 11pm than I'm heading to a night club I'm a photographer for them... Ask me if I'd rather stay home...

:(

THREE grilled cheese sammiches?

just one more reason i'm glad i'm not 20 again. have fun david!

That's one more reason I wish I WAS 20 again.

If I ate 3 now, I'd have heartburn, my blood pressure would skyrocket, and I'd feel like crap. But mah bellah would be nice and waaaaaarm :D

As soon as a posted my question to his post, I started receiving junk mail from Ipad Insight..maybe that was just a freak timing or something. Anyway back to my issue, I have an iPad 2, brand new from Apple. I followed your instructions exactly...the importer doesn't open, nothing happens. I really wanted to use the iPad when I am out driving around taking pictures. I just don't know enough about Apple products to know how to try to trouble shoot.

That is wierd, I was just giving the 60D group a heads up about the free app, although it was kind of ad-ish I suppose.

Are you using SDXC cards or something? Another way to get to it is to go to the photos built in app and put it on the "camera" source from the options along the top.

Also, have you updated your iPad to the latest IOS version? A lot of iPads are still shipping with IOS 4, I'm using the latest IOS 5 version.

Got it from work. They had them on the pillows when we got back to our rooms when we went to a convention in Vegas. Huge open bar party, concert with Fergie then get up and go listen to some guy drone on about numbers at 7-4

Adorama has the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM for $1974 ...I so want to click "add to cart" and then "proceed to checkout" :) then it would be proceed to divorce court :)

LOL. Do it! I did it last month and I'm still married. Funny thing is my wife did not even notice it when I took it out and used it.

Does anyone know if I can take it as carry on with me? With the Grand Canyon I was planning to take one of those bus tours there, has anyone taken that before? What else scenic is out there I can photography? I am planning on taking my 10-22, 17-55, and 70-200 is that suffice? TIA

That's a tough one. I'd for sure take the 10-22 and then the 55-250 so most your ranges will be covered, but if I had the 70-200 I'd want that more than the 250 for the IQ. For sure the 10-22 and 70-200, but if you want to lug them all around then ya that's a good combination. I haven't had problems on any of the 10 flights I've been on. I just pack it in my duffel bag.

I finally went back and processed the last of my photos from my trip to New York last year. Had to get it done so I could close out my 2011 LightRoom catalog. Sorry to all my Flickr contacts that just got spammed with 20 or so photos uploaded. :D

Here are a few of my favorites from that set, and I think I have 2 of my 3 2011 favorites picked out so those should be coming soon.

Thanks Dr. D. Can someone reccommend a good hotel on the strip that has a decent size safe in the room that I can store my camera equipment?

Meglet, love this one. I live in NYC and still have not had the chance to visit the Statue of Liberty as an adult. Its going to be on my to do list this summer.
