Well after a fun Friday night with the Captain and some karaoke and leaving with the waitresses number...I'm calling it a night. I'll put up my baseball pics tomorrow!

it's not a sticker, it's a pointilism painting. so creative. I've heard the owner of this car also painted the whole exterior wall of his house.

I got my Meiki grip today and everything works so i guess i had a good copy.

My neck strap arrived too and you guys were right. It's amazing how a simple stuff like this makes our life a lot easier carrying our heavy DSLR+lens+grip. I feel it's like 50% lighter, huge difference.

whoever recommended this neck strap to me, thank you.

I also bought this cheapo Carbon Fiber Tripod. I can tell it's not bad. Everything works good too.

If you're like me whose tight in budget but hoping for a carbon fiber tripod, give it a try. The head can be replaced too. Great for carrying around since it's light and can be folded small for storage.

Glad it all worked out man - I also have a Meike. Used it exclusively for the first 4 wks and been in a drawer since :D
It will see light of day for events though.

Please tell me the name of the strap you got - my neck vertebrae get pinched lugging by L kit around

cheers

Photo manipulation is frowned upon in sports photography =P While I could do it for the web...it's still not a good practice for me! Next time I'll have to reposition.

Yes, I'm planning to use the grip if there's an event only

But there's other thing i like about having a grip. I can set the strap in the right side of the camera only. one end to the camera and one under the grip living my flippy screen freely without distractions.

My strap is this; Optech-USA
