I'm working on it but i have been truly enjoying my 18-135

That's the only lens I currently have for my 60D, and I have been quite pleased with it in spite of the general disdain for that lens. Once I use ACR's or DxO's lens correction stuff on the images, they look great!

I'm pretty happy with mine so far, the keeper rate is pretty good. It's not quite as sharp as my 17-55 wide open, but then again, it's over a full stop faster.

Cameras: 7D2, S100
Lenses: 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM, 18-135 STM, 24-70 f/4L IS USM, 50 f/1.4 USM,70-300L IS USM
Other Stuff: 430 EX II, Luma Labs Loop 3, CamRanger

The metal body didn't help much at all...

In fact, I bet if it were a "plastic" 60D it wouldn't have been damaged at all.

How many of you guys saw the pics of that 5D2 that fell off of a table with a 70-200 mk II on it about a week ago? The metal body didn't help much at all...

Where?

Nice shot! Can you show the sooc picture so we can get an idea of the pp you made?

David, meant to write about your latest set. Very nice and the floor... wow! I've been in a studio like this once (6 white sides) and the family pics we got were phenomenal!

The 60D doesn't feel plasticy. The toys in the dollar bin feel plasticy. Whatever the 60D is made of (I've heard glass reinforced polycarbonate), it's super high quality and the thing feels rock solid. How many of you guys saw the pics of that 5D2 that fell off of a table with a 70-200 mk II on it about a week ago? The metal body didn't help much at all...

Exactly. That's not the first picture I've seen of a cracked magnesium body. Using magnesium may be "sexier" and more expensive, but the shell is very thin and magnesium is much more brittle than polycarbonate. I think a magnesium shell gives buyers of higher end cameras, and the people who review those cameras, the illusion of higher quality and robustness to justify the significantly higher cost.
